Lehigh University is committed to preventing and addressing sexual harassment, including sexual misconduct, in its campus community. In compliance with its obligations under Title IX, Lehigh University does not discriminate on the basis of sex, and does not tolerate such harassment or discrimination by or against its students, staff, faculty, trustees, contract workers, and visitors.
Lehigh University encourages and, in many cases, requires members of its campus community to report incidents of sexual harassment and sexual misconduct. Most employees who witness or receive a report of sexual harassment or sexual misconduct must report the incident to the Title IX Coordinator/Equal Opportunity Compliance Coordinator (EOCC). The University takes steps to respond promptly and effectively to allegations of sexual harassment and sexual misconduct. The University will promptly investigate such incidents and take appropriate action, including disciplinary action, against individuals found to have violated the University's policies regarding sexual harassment and sexual misconduct according to the fundamentally fair processes described in the University's policies. Lehigh University will take action reasonably designed to prevent the recurrence of sexual harassment and sexual misconduct, and, where appropriate, take steps to remedy its effects.
